Shortts Farm Brewery held its first beer and music festival in Bury St Edmunds last Saturday.

The Thorndon-based brewery sold out of its own cask ales during the busy event at the Unitarian Meeting House, which featured nine local music acts throughout the day and catering from The Friendly Loaf.

Matt Hammond, owner and head brewer, said the day went ‘unbelievably well’, adding: “We’re all really chuffed.”

After its inaugural event’s success, the brewery is planning another festival in the summer.
