Bury students organise 'sleep out' for homelessness

Students from St Benedict’s Catholic School in Bury St Edmunds have been raising awareness for those affected by homelessness.

Lucy Heffron, one of the sixth form students, organised a ‘Sleep Out’ on the school grounds in aid of the charity DePaul.

She felt that this was important because it was a good way to raise awareness of the issues that young homeless people face. So far they have raised over £1,000.
