Students look their glitzy best for glamorous prom nights




Students from schools around West Suffolk donned their best suits, ties, ball gowns and corsages for this year’s prom nights.

King Edward VI School, in Bury St Edmunds, held its Year 11 prom night in Blackthorpe Barn, in Rougham.

Year 11 pupils from Mildenhall College Academy held their prom on Friday, July 3, at the academy.

Thurston Community College Year 11 prom was held at Haughley Park Barn, in Haughley near Stowmarket, on Friday, June 28.

County Upper School, in Bury, held separate prom nights for Year 11 and Year 13 students.

The Year 11 event was held at The Athenaeum in Bury, on Wednesday, June 19, while the Year 13 students had there big night at Ravenwood Hall, in Rougham, on Monday, July 1.

IES Breckland, in Brandon, held its Year 11 prom on Wednesday, June 26, at Hockwold Hall in Hockwold cum Wilton. Students arrived in an array of vehicles ranging from tractors, limousines to a tank.

Year 11 students from Sybil Andrews Academy, in Bury, were given the red carpet treatment when they attended their prom at the Ravenwood Hall hotel in Rougham.
