THE MAGIC of the orient was bought to life for pupils of the Centre Academy of East Anglia through its Asia week celebrations.
Junior students from the school took part in a variety of activities influenced by the cultures and landscapes that make up the continent.
Activities included learning about the physical landscape of the Asia, the countries that make it up the continent and the animals that live there.
Students also had the opportunity to taste a variety of Asian food and one group of year 10 students even travelled to China Town in London to try the real thing.
Asian culture was recreated when teachers and students dressed up in Asian clothing, and learnt about artistic practices from the continent.
They learnt how to do origami, Indian sand painting and Chinese willow designs as well as creating authentic Chinese music.
