COMMUTERS were delayed on Monday when a lorry got wedged under a railway bridge.
Passengers on the Norwich to Cambridge service had to wait in Thetford for an hour after a white lorry misjudged the height of the Station Road tunnel - and got stuck.
The lorry was spotted by two PCSOs at around 1.30pm before police were called to the scene.
Railway officers were then called to attend and the lorry was removed from under the bridge by 2pm.
The bridge was declared safe by Network Rail inspection officers at 2.15pm and the train was able to resume its journey at 2.45pm.
A Network Rail spokesman said no structural damage had been caused to the bridge.
