Straw fire at Knettishall Heath Country Park

Firefighters were called to a straw fire at a country park last night (Friday, June 5).

Approximately 200 tonnes of straw bales were on fire at Knettishall Heath Country Park. The call was reported just after 10.40pm.

The crew from East Harling used a fan to speed up the burning and crews remained on scene to supervise.
