A Suffolk-based global charity auction is gearing up for an exciting last few fund-raising days as it bids to break the £1 million mark raised since its inception.

The Ultimate Charity Auction has attracted more than 130 money-can’t-buy experiences and stars from the world of sport, celebrity and lifestyle.

Top auction lots include a personal audience with legendary former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, a chance to bid on Ed Sheeran’s bright orange teenage drum kit, enjoy the VIP treatment at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest or the Badminton Horse Trials.

Run by Gina Long, of Fornham St Martin, the auction has also attracted support from the local community.

The fund-raiser will support West Suffolk Hospital’s My WiSH Charity, the GeeWizz charitable foundation, Sarcoma UK and In the Game – the League Managers Association Charity.

The auction ends on Sunday and can be viewed at www.ultimatecharityauction.com
