Mildenhall and Ipswich stables targeted in burglaries - Suffolk Constabulary




Stables in Holywell Row near Mildenhall and in Ipswich were targeted in burglaries, Suffolk Constabulary has said.

Riding equipment was stolen in two incidents which took place over three days two weeks ago.

The Ipswich stable in Sproughton Road Paddocks was entered between 5pm on Wednesday, February 5 and 7.30am on Thursday, February 6.

Suffolk Constabulary said: "The suspect forced entry to multiple stables located in paddocks on the outskirts of town with an untidy search conducted and heavy damage caused to the wooden structures and a bridle and halters stolen."

The second incident took place on Friday, February 7, between 7.30am and 8.45pm at a stables in Holywell Row near Mildenhall - from where ten riding saddles where taken.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/7886/20 for the first and 37/8550/20 for the second.
