Stowmarket Air Cadets’ Squadron have been celebrating their achievements from 2015.

Friends, family and past and present members were invited to a special event on April 29, which Wing Commander David Miller and Squadron Leader Graham Deere also attended.

The night started with presentations by the cadets on a number of subjects, including their experiences at Wing Adventure Camps in Llanbedr, Windermere and Aviemore, their Annual Camp at RAF Mawgan, which they shared with Carol Vorderman, and trips to the Eden Project and the Royal Navy’s Casualty Ship, RAF Argus.

An award ceremony followed with Sgt Daniel Woodward named as best cadet on the squadron, for which he received the Poppy Award, and Cdt Charlotte Bullett and Cpl Harrison Bullett given Supercadet Awards.
