Skydive for West Suffolk Hospital

DAREDEVILS are being asked to take to the skies to raise money for a Bury St Edmunds hospital unit.

Clare Haslam-Wise, 28, from Bury, is organising a charity skydiving event, which will take place in Beccles on August 18.

The money raised will go to West Suffolk Hospital’s G1 unit, which includes an adult cancer ward, a Rainbow Ward for children and Macmillan.

Clare, whose father has lymphoma, said: “The reason for organising this event is to get the local community involved in helping the hospital in a fun way.

“They do amazing work there, and my family have learnt from first-hand experience what a good job they do, not only medically but with emotional support as well.”

Anyone interested in taking part should contact Clare for more details.
