The West Suffolk Hospital Charity is appealing for local thrill seekers to take part in a hair raising sky dive.

The tandem sky dive at Beccles Airfield will see participants exit the plane at 13,000 feet, reaching speeds of over 120 mph, all in aid of their chosen department at West Suffolk Hospital on May 7.

The annual challenge has raised more than £18,000 so far and organisers aim to break the £20,000 mark.

Sue Smith, fund-raising manager at West Suffolk Hospital Charity, said: “Having done a sky dive myself, I know what an amazing thrill and achievement it is. I urge anyone who is even slightly interested to contact us today.” Email: fundraising@wsh.nhs.uk
