Have your say

SIR BOBBY’S Breakthrough Auction has raised more than £70,000 in just ten days.

Today, the figure reached a whopping £71,330 - with still a week to go.

New lots, including a behind the scenes tour of the Match of the Day studio with Gary Lineker and an England shirt signed by players from 1966 to 1998, have brought the total number of prize lots to 169.

One new lot will even see the winning bidder presented with a silver replica of the ‘Taca De Portugal’ trophy, won by Sir Bobby with FC Porto in the 1994/95 season, at a Champion’s League fixture in December.

The auction has been set up in memory of Bobby Robson and breast cancer fund-raiser Sally Balch.

Organisers hope to raise £250,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
