Symbolic 50 pence coins have been forming an increasingly long line around the swimming pool at Moreton Hall Health Club, in Bury St Edmunds, over the past two weeks.

Fitness instructor Clare Larner came up with the idea to raise money for the Silver Line, which provides a free helpline for older people.

Mrs Larner, 48, said she had only learned of the charity recently but felt it could benefit some of the mature people in her classes.
