Road signs, which aim to discourage inconsiderate driving near a Bury St Edmunds school, have now been installed.

In April, two Hardwick Primary School pupils won a competition to design signs for Steward Road, near the school’s entrance.

The eye-catching signs, which warn motorists to slow down as they approach the school, were installed earlier this month.

Pictured are winning pupils Zak Howell and Victoria Ashley with Cllr Sarah Stamp, whose locality budget funded the project.
