Showcasing country pursuits at Euston Park helps raise £8,000 for hospice

The organisers of Euston Rural Pastimes annual event have handed over a cheque for £8,000 to St Nicholas Hospice Care after another successful event at Euston Park.

The celebration of rural pursuits saw thousands attend a packed timetable of events including tractor displays, falconry sheepdog trials and dog agility.

George Chilvers, St Nicholas Hospice Care Community Fundraiser, said: “As always, thank you to the organising committee for all their hard work. They put on yet another fantastic event and we are extremely grateful for the funds they have raised which will help us continue to provide end-of-life care and support for those who need it across our community. Thank you to everyone who supported this year’s event and we hope to see you all again next year, which I am sure will be bigger and better than ever.”
