The organisers may have stopped taking entries last Monday, but the classics kept turning up at Stonham Barns.

In the end there were 905 cars of all ages, from a 1904 Cadillac to newly built hot rods, at the Classic Car and Vintage Market there on Sunday.

The market featured all things retro while the car enthusiasts could savour styles ranging from Morris Minors to Ford Mustangs.

Suffolk Land Rover Club gave rides around the venue’s off-road course for charity.

A 1965 Mercedes 190 Fintail belonging to Mark Golynia of Copford took the Best i n Show prize. John Scully of Creeting St Mary took Best American Car for his 1960 Chevrolet Impala.

The winner for the Pre 1950s was a 1934 Ford Model Y belonging to Alan Simmons of Lowestoft. The 1951-1970 Winner was Alan Sparrow of Martham with his 1964 Austin Mini Cooper S and the 1971-present prize went to a 1989 Ford Escort belonging to John Nolan of Felixstowe.
