Shotgun, rifle and ammunition stolen in Worlington burglary

A shotgun, rifle and ammunition were stolen during a burglary in Worlington.

The incident was at some point between 6.30pm and 10.30pm on Friday, December 21 at a property in the vicinity of Isleham Road and Freckenham Road.

A window was forced open and there was an untidy search.


Various items were stolen including an amount of cash, a 12 bore Lincoln shotgun, a 22rf bolt action rifle and ammunition, as well as CCTV equipment.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or has any information about the crime should contact Suffolk police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/73739/18.

Detectives would also like to hear from anyone who may have any dash camera footage captured between the times of 6.30pm and 10.30pm in the vicinity of Isleham Road.
