Bomber crews who served at RAF Mildenhall and its satellite airfields in World War Two will be remembered at a special service at St John’s Church, Beck Row, on Sunday May 15 at 11am.

About 60 members of the Mildenhall Register, including veterans from Australia, Canada and New Zealand together with USAF and RAF Officers will be attending the register’s annual memorial service.

The register was formed in 1980 and is open to open to all who served in the bomber squadrons stationed at RAF Mildenhall and the satellite bases during the war, plus their friends and familkies.

The register says all are welcomed to attend the service. For details of the register visit www.mildenhallregister.stirlingpilot.org.uk
