See the Bury St Edmunds theatre stars trail by rickshaw this summer

Star-struck visitors can tour the latest Our Bury St Edmunds town centre trail by rickshaw.

The Theatre Star Trail starts today and Bury St Edmunds Rickshaw is offering tours to those with limited mobility or experiencing social isolation.

Sheila Burke, of Jacobs Allen, which has sponsored a star, said: “When the opportunity came up to be part of the Star Trail for the Theatre Royal we couldn’t refuse. We have chosen the ‘Gyles Brandreth Star’ and are thrilled it’s going to be outside our offices in Abbeygate Street.

“We are also announcing our sponsorship of the rickshaw for this season. It’s a worthy cause and one we’re proud to support.”

Rickshaw trustee Libby Ranzetta said: “The Jacobs Allen sponsorship means we can continue to offer a free service.”

  • The Star Trail runs until October 27.
