Police are appealing for information after a stone was thrown from a pedestrian footbridge over the A14 earlier this month.

Damage was caused to the windscreen of a car that was passing under the bridge on the west bound carriageway at Barrow around 8.10am on Thursday 5 May.

Fortunately no one was hurt.

Officers would like to trace a group of school children who were seen in the vicinity of the bridge around this time.

Anyone with information about the incident, or who threw the stone, should call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime number 31767/16. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously if required, on 0800 555 111.
