School in Horringer wins top award for food related activities

Ickworth Park Primary School, in Horringer, has scooped a top award for its food-related activities.

Head Ann Morley and Key Stage One Co-ordinator Jayne Cook won the 2015 School Food Plan accolade in the national Educatering Excellence Awards.

Initiatives at the school include an allotment, a cookery club, a redecorated hall and a salad bar at lunch times.
