An SBC spokesman said the gel, the first bottles of which came off the production line on Wednesday, had been produced quickly 'in accordance with demand'.

The gel, which costs £6.50 for a 100ml flip-top bottle, is available from the SBC website from today and will also be available on Amazon later this month.
