Singer-songwriter Sam Smith has announced that he will be performing at Thetford Forest next month.
Doubt surrounded the Brit and Grammy award winner’s upcoming performance after he was forced to cancel shows on his world tour to have surgery on his damaged vocal cords.
But, following three weeks of silence, the popular artist has announced that he will be resuming his schedule, starting with his much-anticipated sell-out show at Thetford on July 3, where he has promised to ‘sing his heart out’ for fans.
Taking to Facebook, the star said: “Hello everybody, this is Sam Smith here and, as you can see, I can speak again for the first time in three weeks.
“And it’s been horrible, and sitting in silence and knowing that I should be doing these shows has killed me, but, finally, I have some good news.
“And that is that I’m going to be starting all my shows up from the 3rd of July, and it’s all as planned, and I’m going to try my absolute best to sing my heart out every night, but please bear with me, as always.
“I love you all.”
