Royal West Suffolk College event raises £50,000

A presentation was held on Tuesday following a prestigious charity evening at St Edmundsbury Cathedral by culinary arts students from West Suffolk College last year.

The event kick started the celebrations of the 1,000th anniversary of the founding of Suffolk’s great Abbey.

An outstanding £50,000 was raised from the event and the auction to go to three Suffolk hospices.

In late November last year West Suffolk College Culinary Arts Academy catered and worked at a Cathedral held event called ‘A night before Christmas.’ This was hosted by the Lord Lieutenant of Suffolk, Lady Clare Countess of Euston and attended by HRH Duchess of Gloucester....PICTURE: Mecha Morton ....
