Students from Red Lodge have learnt to programme robotic devices to obey their commands during technological workshops.
The group of year six students from St Christopher’s Primary School visited BT’s headquarters in Martlesham where they were taught to programme robots using the latest software.
The effectiveness of their instructions was tested against the efforts of other schools as the robots went head to head in a challenge.
The Red Lodge students performed very well with one team being ranked in joint second place.
Last week a return visit saw BT Education travel to the school to provide a further workshop aimed at ensuring the students and their teachers remain on the cutting edge of computing technology.
