The B1102 at Freckenham has now reopened after a trailer load of potatoes overturned.

Police were contacted at 10.45am this morning, Tuesday September 1, to reports the trailer, that was being towed by a tractor, was on its side and the load of potatoes was all over the road just outside Freckenham.

Traffic from Freckenham could still pass the load and divert around the tractor by using a junction there but traffic from the Worlington direction could not get past and the road was closed in this direction.

The clear up is now complete and the road has reopened.
