A134 near Thetford damaged after lorry overturns

A road which closed after a lorry overturned near Thetford is due to reopen in the next two hours.

Police were called at 6.36am today (November 28) to the incident on the A134 at Lynford.

There were no injuries, recovery was called and there were diversions following the closure of the Mundford roundabout.

Norfolk & Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Team tweeted:

At 2.55pm, Norfolk Highways confirmed the lorry had been removed but the carriageway was damaged.

At 3.48pm, a spokeswoman said that arrangements were being made to make the area safe and remove the road closure.

She added: "We anticipate this being carried out in the next two hours."
