Road blocked after two vehicle collision in Bury

A Bury St Edmunds road is blocked following a two vehicle collision.

Police were called at 3.30pm to reports of a collision involving an Audi and Ford Ka in Westley Road.

A police spokeswoman said one person was taken to hospital with injuries to their arm and head.

She added that there was a minor fire involving one of the vehicles.

A spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue said one fire engine attended and a hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.

Suffolk Highways were called as there was some fuel in the road.
