Art and textile students at Thurston Community College are exhibiting their rich tapestry of GCSE work.

The pieces on display were produced during a 10 hour exam and include a mixture of fashion textiles, painting, printmaking and fine art textiles.

Gemma Gibson, head of department for art and design, said: “The quality of the work is very high. There’s some really outstanding students.

“We make sure every one of them has the opportunity to show their work.”

The exhibition, which is at the college’s Thurston campus, runs throughout June.

To arrange a viewing contact the college on 01359 230885.
