THE THIRD Relay For Life fund-raiser to be held in Bury St Edmunds will take place at Ickworth Park, it was announced on Tuesday.
The event will span 24 hours from July 30 and will include an opening ceremony, entertainment by local bands and choirs, a Candle of Hope ceremony and camping, while the park itself will be open to visitors free of charge.
Relay is open to men and women of all ages and is a non-athletic event, most people choose to walk, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Among survivors at the event will be Judith Taylor, 61, from Market Weston, who was diagnosed with thyroid cancer when she was 15-years-old and James Cutler, 36, from Moreton Hall, who was diagnosed with skin cancer at the age of 21.
