Relay for Life Bury St Edmunds will return next year

A popular 24-hour fund-raising relay has been postponed until next year.

Relay for Life Bury St Edmunds in aid of Cancer Research UK will begin on July 3, 2021, in Nowton Park.

The event sees teams fund-raise for life-saving cancer research and unite at the weekend-long festival to celebrate and remember everyone who has been affected by cancer.

Matthew Darkins, co-chair of the Relay for Life Bury St Edmunds committee with David Cianciola, said: “We were absolutely devastated to have to postpone the 2020 relay.

“Money already raised and registrations in place will carry over. We want to make 2021 bigger and better than ever before.”
