A man accused of making indecent images of children will have his case heard in the crown court.

Mark Flack, 49, of Laburnum Close, Red Lodge, gave no indication of a plea when he appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court today.

He is accused of eight offences of making indecent images of children and one offence of possessing a prohibited image of a child.

All the offences are alleged to have taken place in Red Lodge or Bury St Edmunds on or before October 14, last year.

Flack was released on conditional bail until his next court appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on July 2.

While on bail, he is prohibited from having unsupervised contact with any child under 16.

Any supervised contact must be by a person aged over 18 with parental responsibility for that child and they must be in the immediate proximity at all times.
