This week’s winner is Robert Lawson, from Bury St Edmunds, with this picture of a cheeky dunnock.

Robert says: “I really like this picture, not only is the sun shining and the bird, a dunnock, looks like it’s posing for me, but I really love the striking contrast that the roof blinds of my neighbour’s conservatory provide to the bird and the plant.

“It proves that if we provide a little bit of room for nature in our gardens, then it will come.”

Robert wins the chance to have his picture made into an A3 canvas print courtesy of Denny Bros’ Sprint Print service in King’s Road, Bury. Alternatively, he can choose to have five smaller glossy prints.

Catherine Green, from Bury St Edmunds, took this picture at Keukenhof, in the Netherlands. She said: “ I feel that it sums up my whole trip with the water ways, beautiful flowers and artwork.”

Andrew Nott, from Tostock, was among the crowds who watched at RAF Lakenheath as visiting F-22A Raptor fighter aircraft arrived at the base.
