READERS’ PICTURES: From the Bury Free Press of Friday, March 4
Fourteen-year-old Harry Myhill is this week’s winner with this photo of an otter taken on a nature reserve.
Harry, from Rattlesden, said: “I observed this otter yawning and relaxing on a bank while walking through the reserve.”
Harry wins the chance to have his picture made into an A3 canvas print, courtesy of Denny Bros’ Sprint Print service in King’s Road, Bury. Alternatively, he can choose to have five smaller glossy prints.
This cow and her calf were snapped by Rodger Welham, from Great Saxham, during a walking holiday in Slovenia.
It’s the daffodils which are ‘lonely as a cloud’ at St Lawrence’s Church, Lackford, photographed by Ian Harper, of Bury, who said the flowers brightened a dull day.
