Their two-day journey into the Amazon involved a taxi, a bus, a ferry and a number of smaller boats. They had to cross this ‘bridge’ to get on to a speedboat.

Karen Roe, from Bury St Edmunds, submitted this picture which she has called The Eye of London. Karen said it was taken from an open balcony at the top of City Hall.

This picture of St Edmundsbury Cathedral in its festive finery was taken on Christmas Day by Lynda Brignall, from Great Barton.
