BURY St Edmunds has recorded its wettest June in 15 years.
Most of the rain fell in the 23 days to June 24 with a of total of 93.3mm making it the wettest since 129mm in 1997, according to figures by Alan Messem, who records rainfall at the River Linnet.
Last month also had 16 days with more than 1mm of rain, which was the most for June since 17 days 1998.
Since April, there has been 44 wet days, with 249mm.
The six months rain so far this year stands at 354mm.
