As the majority of schools in Bury St Edmunds prepare to move to two tier education, pupils are working to make the transition as smooth as possible.
School council leaders from the Bury Schools Partnership attended a leadership conference this week where they each made a short video of King Edward VI School to show to pupils at their primary school. A King Edward’s student will also return to their former primary to answer questions about life at the secondary school.
Head Geoff Barton said leadership opportunities will be one of the ‘major benefits’ for pupils in the Partnership.
