With all manner of fund-raising creativity embraced for Comic Relief, pupils at a Bury St Edmunds school went the extra mile by forming a human red nose.

Scores of children at Horringer Court Middle, in Glastonbury Road, donned red clothing and each donated £1 towards the record breaking charity extravaganza.

Crews from Bury Fire Station lent a helping hand providing a turntable ladder to take this stunning picture of their human red nose.
