Pupils were left all shook up and advanced their numerical skills during an ‘Action Day’ held by Bury St Edmunds’s All-through Academy Trust - involving Barrow Primary, Westley and Horringer Court Middles and County Upper Schools.
They focused on natural disasters at Westley Middle by building volcanoes, creating mosaics as well as earthquake and volcano proof structures.
Meanwhile, at Barrow Primary they enjoyed a range of problem solving maths activities outside and were joined by Culford School pupils.
There was also a visit to a mosque in Ipswich.
The Trust is planning further Action Days for other curriculum subjects.
