Pupils explore space and universe in planetarium

Children from Rattlesden Primary School were looking to the stars on Tuesday after the universe was bundled into a box and brought to the village.

Pupils visited Rattlesden Pavilion where a planetarium had been delivered especially to enhance the young students’ learning, with their topic ‘explorers’.

Helen Ballam, headteacher, said: “They were really excited and really enthusiastic. It was very different for them. We keep trying to get in new experiences for the children. We’re aiming to have many new experiences.”
