As part of their work to achieve a Fairtrade award, pupils at the Bury All-Through Trust’s Westley campus baked cakes using Fairtrade products.

They now plan to promote the project through assemblies and take part in Fairtrade Fortnight in February.

Teacher Raksha Chohan-Jones said pupils took the recipe for the fruit and dark chocolate fridge cake home for Christmas.
