Pudsey the bear joined young dancers as they tapped their feet for 24-hours straight to raise money for Children in Need.
Members of Kimberley Ann’s Theatre School took part in the danceathon.
Teacher Kimberley Ann Bullock said: “It was really fun and I’m really proud of the children for doing it.
“They worked really hard and it’s really nice they want to help children who are not as fortunate as they are.”
The surprise appearance of Pudsey, the charity’s mascot, kept everyone motivated.
Kimberley said: “They were very excited - Pudsey caused quite a stir.”
The school’s students, all wearing their onesies or pyjamas, made sure at least one person was dancing at all times between midday on Tuesday and midday on Wednesday.
The hall was decked out in a festive theme and dances including the macorana and the YMCA ensured the party continued.
The group also practised the routines for their forthcoming Christmas show.
