Chilton Primary School wins funding bid




A Stowmarket Primary School were celebrating after a successful bid for funds to provide the school with new play area equipment.

Children and staff from Chilton Community Primary School gathered together last Monday for the opening of the new play area.

The school was successful in a bid to National Lottery Awards and received a £10,000 grant towards the project.

Contractors from Pentagon Play were at the school throughout the previous week clearing away the old gym trail and installing the new exciting trail which includes a log weaver, swinging logs and a double sided climbing wall.

Children have already been having great fun and enjoying playing with their friends on the new trail.

Pupils thanked Pentagon Play and the National Lottery Awards.
