Police seek witnesses to assault on boy in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was assaulted in Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday.

He was sat at a bus stop in Ridley Road at around 7pm when he was approached by two males and struck to the head by one of them.

He has since had his nose examined to see if it is broken and is currently waiting for the results.

The offender is described as white and aged in his late teens.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the assault, or has information about it.
