Police are trying to trace a man who inappropriately touched an 18-year-old woman near Stowmarket railway station.

The woman had got off a train on Tuesday September 15 and was near the crossing on Navigation Approach at about 10pm, when a man, who had also been on the train, touched her bottom.

The woman jumped and he tried to touch her again but she pushed him away and walked off.

The man was white, in his early- to mid-20s, about 5ft 6in, of a medium build, bald or with very light short hair and was wearing a waist length white jacket, navy trainers and carrying a camouflage backpack. He was described as having a Polish accent.
