Police release Efit after robber targets car in Stowmarket

Police are releasing an Efit of a man they want to trace in connection with a robbery in Stowmarket last month.

Around 11.30pm on Monday, June 1 the man approached a car parked in Cormorant Drive and spoke to a group of five teenage boys, who were sitting in the vehicle, for several minutes before demanding they empty their pockets. He then stole a quantity of cash before walking off.

The man police want to speak to is described as white, in his late teens to mid 20s, between 5ft 7in and 5ft 11in , with short light brown hair and a short beard. At the time he was wearing a dark purple short-sleeved T-shirt and blue denim jeans.

Anyone who recognises the Efit and description is asked to call DC Rebecca Molisso at Bury St Edmunds CID on 101 and quoting crime number ST/15/1750.
