A set of French doors at the rear of the property were forced opened to gain entry, but despite a search taking place it does not appear anything was stolen.

Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured in the E-fit about this incident.

He is described as white, aged in his early 30s, around 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, with dark stubble.

He was wearing a grey beanie hat and dark clothing.

Police are also investigating another burglary which took place in the village on the same day, at some time between 9am and 4.20pm at an address in Barrow Hill.

A rear door was forced open using tools from the garden shed and items including two PlayStation 4 controllers and games, a gold pocket watch and around £300 in cash were stolen from inside.

Anyone who believes they know the man pictured in the E-fit, or has any information about either of these incidents, is asked to contact the Bury St Edmunds Priority Crime Team on 101 quoting reference BR/15/70, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
