Police make appeal for witnesses to Great Barton assault

Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Great Barton earlier this month.

Officers are investigating an assault which was reported to have taken place at the junction of Cox Lane and East Barton Road around 6pm on June 8.

The are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen a man and a teenage girl who are thought to have been sat at this location around this time.

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and bailed until September 14 in connection with the incident, but enquiries into what happened are continuing and officers are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.
