Police investigating the supply of class A drugs raid house in Red Lodge

A HOUSE in Red Lodge was searched by Cambridgeshire police yesterday morning as part of a series of drug raids across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex.

Police discovered cannabis plants at a house in Red Lodge, and a 32 year-old women was arrested and bailed.

Cambridgeshire Police carried out dawn raids on 18 properties at 7am yesterday morning.

The raids were the culmination of a long-term investigation into the supply of class A drugs in Cambridgeshire.

19 people were arrested as a result of the operation, codenamed Vanguard, which involved more than 250 officers.

Chief Inspector Darren Alderson said: “These raids are part of the force’s ongoing campaign to stop class A drugs being sold in Cambridgeshire.

“We take this kind of offending very seriously and would urge anyone with information about it to contact the police.”
