Police are investigating the sudden death of a man at a house in Bramford.

Officers were called by a member of the public around 9.45am yesterday, Thursday April 28, reporting concerns for a man in his 50s who had failed to turn up for work.

Police carried out checks and went to his home address in The Street, Bramford.

When there was no answer they looked into the home and saw the resident inside. Entry was gained around 10.20am and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

His death is currently being treated as unexplained, pending a post mortem examination, and police have begun an investigation.

Officers are asking anyone who may have seen anything in the area between Wednesday and yesterday morning, Thursday April 28, to call Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 88 of 28 April.
